Foot patrol (04/03/2026)

Yesterday Rick spent time around Rush Green monitoring college AS before heading to Eastbrook School over 5+ hours on the ward (9.05 miles).

Warming up with a lap around Eastbrookend's Tom Thumb and Bardag (10.28am) lakes, and checking in on staff at the Eastbrookend Country Park Tea Room, it was on towards Fels Farm Mews (11.07am).

Valentines, Great Cullings and all of Parish Fields (p) was covered before a 2-hour focus on college-based ASB.

Several visits were made to both the Thorntons Farm Avenue alley (inc. 12.06pm, 12.50pm & 1.45pm) and the Fourth Avenue car port, along with checks on the Dagenham Road flats and the Co-op (est. 12.20pm).

Harveys Lane (inc. 1.11pm & 1.50pm) was also patrolled, with around 8 students spoken to about reported drug use in the service road.

A loop of Gorseway (1.26pm, p) and Lincoln Avenue was also completed before passing back through Great Cullings and Eastbrook Drive (2.06pm).

From 3pm, via Fels Field and Central Park, Rick was joined by Lee and Kerry, spending 45 minutes around Eastbrook School engaging with pupils on their way home.
