Rise in Burglaries

Bush Hill Park and the surrounding areas have seen a recent rise in burglaries. It has been noted that on many occasions access has been gained via smashing a rear window or patio door, for this reason it is imperative that we remind you to secure all access points to your property. 

The following actions can be taken to help prevent your property from being burgled:

Lock all doors and windows when you are leaving the property

Lock your shed/garage

Keep all valuables out of sight

Secure items that could be used for climbing on - such as wheelie bins and ladders

Use laminated glass or security film on accessible windows 

Set lights to a timer when your are not home at night/when it is dark
