Cycle OP

Dear Residents, 

Today Safer Neighbourhoods Officers from Parsons Green and Sandford, Palace and Hurlingham, Fulham Town, Walham Green, Sands End, Munster and Fulham Reach wards all took part in a proactive cycle operation on New Kings Road next to Parsons Green, SW6. The aim of this operation was to target cyclists who are regularly ignoring red light signals near Parsons Green. This is a very busy area during rush hour, with three local schools and the local community have reported many near misses to police due to dangerous cycling.

We issued a total of 30 Fixed Penalty Notices for failing to comply with traffic signals and also seized two E-scooters which were being ridden unlawfully without insurance.
