Warrant Execution in Cricklewood

I wanted to provide you an update regarding Violent crime, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

On Thursday 5th March 2026 there have been a number of warrants executed in Hassop Road NW2 and Cricklewood Broadway NW2 in relation to a firearms being discharged on 7th February 2026 in Hassop Road NW2. Neighbourhood policing team along with specialist crime unit conducted the warrants in relation to drugs, firearms and criminal activity. Thankfully no one has been injured during the discharge of the firearms incident.

One male has been arrested who discharged the firearm and is in police custody. The investigation now progresses at pace by detectives
