Led by Sgt Wilson, our officers took part in Operation Eye Spy, a targeted crackdown on persistent open drug dealing in busy public spaces. Several individuals were arrested for a range of offences, helping us keep our neighbourhoods safer. ☕ Connecting With Students at DMU
PCSO Phil and PCSO Jas spent time at the DMU Café, speaking with students and staff. These engagements are vital in strengthening relationships with such a large and diverse part of our community. 🔍 Warrant Executed Following Public Intelligence
After receiving information from members of the public, our PCs executed a warrant relating to suspected drug dealing. One male was arrested and is now on strict bail conditions while the investigation continues. PCSO V and PCSO Hafsa partnered with Dr. Bike at the Leicester Royal Infirmary, helping staff get their bikes registered and offering crime‑prevention advice. A great initiative to help keep cyclists safe. 🚗 Op Streetwise – Tackling ASB Vehicles
On Friday night, our team supported Operation Streetwise, targeting antisocial vehicle use in and around the city centre. Your reports help us tackle reckless behaviour and keep the roads safe for everyone. ⚡ Skills & Court Work
PC Fabian completed his annual Taser refresher, ensuring officers stay trained and up to date. Meanwhile, PC Callum attended Crown Court to give evidence for a previous case — vital work that helps bring offenders to justice. 👮 Extra Patrols in the City Centre
Following reports of potential disorder on Thursday evening, Riverside officers increased patrols to help keep the area safe. Thankfully, no incidents occurred and the night passed without issues.
