E-Bike Seizure

This afternoon while on Patrol, an officer from Wyre Task Force spotted a male on an E-bike who made off in an attempt to evade him.

Despite failing to stop for police and riding in a dangerous manner, the male was detained a short time later on Wyre Estuary where he established the bike wasn't that good off road. 

The male has been arrested for driving offences and the bike seized.

Road safety continues to be a top priority for Wyre NHPT and our partners with E-bikes and E-scooters consistently raised as a big concern by members of the local community.
