Hello Bordesley Green Readers,
✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅
This week Bordesley Green have have been proactive doing check ins with Heartlands, ASDA, Bordesley Green and conducting school patrols in and around patch working at reducing ASB, theft and vehicle offences. Officers have done school inputs at StarBank school doing interactive sessions with the students and discussing bullying. Officers have conducted regular patrols around Bordesley Green speaking to our local residents. We have arrested a female who was wanted for an offence where she was subsequently arrested and dealt with accordingly. Two officers also seized two knifes in Bordesley Green removing these off of the streets. Amongst all this, we have been helping out in the city centre with events happening on their patch.
All around a positive week for Bordesley Green supported by the residents and by partner agencies, it is something we have been doing and will continue to do. Once issues are reported to us we will continue to act against those involved, ensuring that our residents are safe and we can continue to prevent crimes before they become larger issues. We do have some upcoming vehicle operations focusing on parking and untaxed vehicles. Reminder that double parking restricts vehicles from being able to pass through and can result in you getting a ticket. Any parking that prevents pedestrians from being able to pass on the pavement, including those who are in a wheelchair or have a pushchair, the vehicle is considered dangerously parked, please be considerate when parking your car. Remember that to have a car on the road, this needs to be taxed, if you SORN a vehicle this means that this vehicle is OFF ROAD. #parkitdontplonkit #TAXITORLOSEIT
Images of some of the above incidents can be found on our twitter page, @BordesleyWMP. We give updates on what we are up to on here!

🚨 Crime & Safety Updates — What You Need to Know 🚨 We are noticing a increase in vehicle crimes, these include number plate taking, theft from vehicles and theft of vehicles. Remember to always lock your car if this is unattended, never leave any valuables on display inside of the vehicle, take these inside inside with you before leaving your vehicle. Never leave your engine running whilst not inside of the vehicle. Consider faraday pouches for cars that have keyless entry, these block the signal from your key to prevent anyone from being able to take your car. Store car keys away from the front door in a secure place, considerations for a steering lock or number plate screws to prevent your registration from being removed and used in crime. Please always be cautious and vigilant with your vehicles, if you see something suspicious please call us on 999 or 101. 📞 How to Contact Us or Report Information 📞 💬 Stay Connected with Your Local Team: 🤝🏼 Thank you for working with us to keep Birmingham and Bordesley Green safe and informed.
