THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE

Dear Resident

You are receiving this as you live in the vicinity of a vehicle crime that occurred on Moor Top Road on Monday 9th March between 21:00hrs and Tuesday 10th March 06:00hrs

BETWEEN THE TIMES AND DATES STATED UNKNOWN PERSONS ATTEND THE VICTIMS VEHICLE PARKED ON THE ROAD LOCKED AND SECURE, THEY CAUSE DAMAGE TO A WINDOW IN ORDER TO GAIN ENTRY, IGNITION HAS BEEN DAMAGED HOWEVER A STEARING LOCK HAS DETERRED THE SUSPECTS AND THEY MAKE OFF UNSEEN IN AN UNKNOWN DIRECTION.

If you have any information in relation to the above please contact the Police on 101 or speak to a local PCSO. Please also check your CCTV or Doorbell camera if you have one during the crime timings to see if there are any activations. 

This is also a good time to check your own security, many offences are preventable with small improvements to your vehicle security.
