Become a West Mercia Police Cadet.

Applications are now open for Police Cadets in the Telford & Shropshire area for our September intake. 

Our Cadet Programme brings young people aged between 16-18 together to learn new skills, support their communities, and gain a unique insight into policing. 

It’s a welcoming, inclusive environment where every young person can grow in confidence while making a real difference.

Every week, you’ll take part in a mixture of practical and classroom-based activities as well as getting involved in a wide range of activities across the area. These experiences give you a rare behind-the-scenes look at policing and the wider emergency services. 

It's an opportunity to grow, contribute and be part of something meaningful.
