Good Morning,
The Neighbourhood Policing Team have been made aware of incidents on the Taff Trail, whereby a cyclist has been abusive towards a female dog walker.
Due to the heavy footfall and public access, NPT want to ensure that these incidents stop and that all members of the public continue to enjoy their daily walk/cycle/use of the surroundings on a daily basis.
We want to give reassurance that a significant amount of members of the public have been spoken to and we have not had any further reports from others at this stage. NPT will be continuing to conduct our regular patrols on the Taff Trail, and are always happy to stop and chat.
We ask that if any incidents occur between any persons on the trail, to please report to 101 or 999 in the instance of an emergency. |
