PCSO 8746 Barker has been carrying out high visibility patrols across the Rugby Rural North area of Withybrook this evening following reports of suspected hare coursing activity.

Our patrols are aimed at reassuring the local community, deterring offenders, and gathering intelligence in relation to rural crime. We will continue to monitor the area and respond to any reports of suspicious activity.

Hare coursing is a criminal offence and often involves trespass on farmland, damage to crops, and intimidation of landowners.

 If you see anything suspicious, such as vehicles in fields, individuals with dogs in rural areas, or activity that doesn’t seem right, please report it:

 999 if a crime is in progress

 101 for non-emergency reports
