Appeal for Information – Arson Incident Near Strikes and Breakspeare Garth

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information following an arson incident that took place on 15 March at around 15:30 in a field near Strikes and Breakspeare Garth.

A group of youths are believed to have set fires using aerosol cans, causing damage to both a caravan and a barn. This incident has caused significant damage and posed a serious risk to the public.

The individuals involved left bicycles and scooters at the scene, which have now been recovered. These items have been taken to Northallerton Police Station and can be collected by the owners accompanied by a parent or guardian.

We are asking anyone who witnessed the incident, has CCTV, doorbell footage, or can help identify those involved to contact us. Even small pieces of information can make a difference.
