Local Priorities Drug dealing/ drug use Message

I wanted to provide an update regarding drug dealing / drug use, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Whilst police were on patrol on the evening of Sunday 15/03/2026 in THE MOUNT area a vehicle with a MALE sat in the drivers seat and a MALE passenger were seen in a secluded area. They were spoken to by police and were found in possession of a large amount of NITROUS OXIDE cannisters. The driver admitted they were his and he was issued with a penalty notice for disorder (PND). The cannisters were seized by police.

We are committed to tackling drug dealing wherever we find it. We will keep you updated on our efforts to do this in your area, but if you have any concerns or evidence, it is important you report this as soon as possible.
