Good evening residents, You may or may not know, but your local team covers the entire ward, covering roughly 50 square miles, including Burton-Upon-Stather, Winterton, Flixborough, Roxby and Winteringham, just to name a few. For that reason, it's important to us that residents be the eyes and ears of the community when we are policing other areas, and feed back to us any crime, suspicious activity or concerns. For example, last month, we had information about speeding in various key hotspots in Burton-Upon-Stather; In response to this, this month a speed enforcement plan has been put in place to monitor and take action in those areas. The intention is to reduce speeding in the area and promote safer driving, keeping your streets and homes safe from an avoidable danger. Since the change in ward boundaries, your local neighbourhood team is based in Barton, with a small space in the Winterton community hub.
