Recovery of Untaxed vehicles inappropriately parked on the highway

Today the Arleston & College safer Neighbourhood Team recovered 2 vehicles that were inappropriately parked on the public highway as a response to a report made to us from the public regarding a car parked on a busy junction. One car was untaxed and the other was SORN and parked on the corner of the junction making it difficult for other drivers to pull out- a real ‘2 for the price of 1’ outcome! 

Keeping vehicles properly taxed and parked appropriately isn't just a legal requirement- it helps keep our roads safe, fair and accountable for everyone!

If you've got a vehicle that is off the road, make sure that it is declared SORN and parked off the public highway. If it's being used , make sure that it is taxed.
