Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team

✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅

This week on St Matthew's, PCSO's have been conducting street watches with Walsall College students Group patrolling around Walsall Town Centre, engaging with the local communities. We have also conducted several speed-watches resulting in 10 speeding warning letters being handed out over the period of two speed watch sessions. We have also been Partnership working - ASB patrol with Greensquare Accord Housing Officer at a Walsall Town Centre location. We have also carried out operations with Trading Standards too. As the warmer and brighter weather has started Walsall Arboretum has become very busy at certain times. Throughout the set teams have conducted a number of ASB patrols in Walsall Arboretum, including cycle patrols, during these peak times. Finally for this week, Our DNO conducted some partnership working with Town Centre patrols with Walsall Council Community Protection Team. During the patrol both ASB and shop theft issues were dealt with in an appropriate way. (see Twitter for detail)

📅 Upcoming Police & Community Engagements 📅

We look to conduct more of these ASB patrols and continue our partnership work with our different partners. More speed-watches are also going to take place as well as our street watches. Cuppa with a copper sessions will also be taking place soon at a supported living home to engage with the residents where they can talk to us about any concerns or queries they have.
