PC James 1497 and PC Nick have been out across East Leicester this week as part of Operation Pedalfast, checking for illegal e‑bikes and e‑scooters.⚡🛵

Their patrols focus on:
🔍 Identifying illegally‑used e‑bikes & scooters
📣 Educating riders on safety and the law
🚫 Tackling anti‑social riding
🚶‍♂️ Helping keep pedestrians and road users safe

Quick reminder: E scooters are illegal to ride in public spaces!

If you’re caught riding one out and about:
✅ Your scooter can be seized on the spot under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act.
