Vehicle Crime Alert - Volkswagen Badge Thefts

We would like to made residents aware of a recent increase in thefts of Volkswagen (VW) vehicle badges in the local area.

Offenders are targeting VW vehicles as the front badge can often be removed quickly and may be resold. In most cases, only the outer badge is taken. While some newer vehicles have components behind the badge, these are less commonly targeted. 

What you can do to reduce the risk:

If you have been affected, please report it via 101 or online at the Metropolitan Police website. Reporting helps us identify patterns and target patrols effectively.
