Match Day Parking Crime Prevention Advice |

🚔🚔 Neighbourhood Policing Team 1 - Inspector Jackson 🚔🚔 North
Residents and visitors attending fixtures at the Etihad Stadium are advised that the surrounding areas of East Manchester can experience an increase in crime and anti-social behaviour on match days. The higher volume of people and vehicles can create opportunities for offences such as theft from motor vehicles, pickpocketing, and road traffic violations.
Neighbourhood officers from Team 1 will be conducting high-visibility patrols and targeted operations around the stadium and nearby streets to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety.
We are asking everyone attending or living in the area to take the following precautions:
🔒 Ensure vehicles are locked and no valuables are left on display 🏠 Secure your home before leaving and remain vigilant if staying in 🚗 Park responsibly in well-lit, designated areas 📱 Keep personal belongings secure and be mindful in crowded spaces 🚫 Allow extra time for travel and follow road closures and police directions
We remain committed to acting on intelligence and dealing robustly with those involved in criminality. Your cooperation helps us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all.
If you see suspicious behaviour or have information, please report it. In an emergency, always dial 999.
Thank you for your continued support.
