Burglary- There has been one report of burglary between Sunday 15th March 2026 and Monday 23rd March 2026. On 20th March 2026, unknown offender/s has entered the property through an insecure rear window. Offender/s has stolen items and vehicle Peugeot 308 with keys on MERIDEN DRIVE. The family members shared the details of the stolen vehicle on social media and was recovered the same day.
Theft of motor vehicle – There has been one report of Theft of a motor vehicle between Sunday 15th March 2026 and Monday 23rd March 2026. On 15th March 2026, unknown offender/shave stolen parked, locked and unattended Toyota Prius on KINGSHURST WAY.
Theft from a motor vehicle – There has been no reports of Theft from a motor vehicle between Sunday 15th March 2026 and Monday 23rd March 2026.

What’s been happening? Good news
On the 18th of March we arrested a male who failed to attend court last week for a theft from a shop that committed in Kingshurst. For not attending, he spent the rest of the day and all night in custody for court the following morning.
On the 19th of March, PCSO Michelle Collins was at The Evergreen Hub, Kinghurst to talk to a parents Group about the “Hollie Guard” mobile phone app Hollie Guard was developed by the Hollie Gazzard Trust to help people stay safe. The app was created in honour of Hollie. It is the definitive safety app fully endorsed by many police forces across the country.
PCSO Khan and Collins held a Police Beat Surgery at Elmwood Family Hub in Smiths Wood. They spoke to residents about any concerns and provided crime prevention advice.
On the 20th of March another arrest was made for a female who failed to attend court on Tuesday. She had failed to provide a reasonable excuse for not attending probation appointments while on a suspended sentence for assaulting an office in 2024. Court was arranged for Tuesday, but she failed to show.
Back in October we shared that the team had arrested a male for making threats with an offensive weapon in a public place after wielding a plank of wood. CPS have now come back and authorised charging him for this offence and he will be attending court soon. | ||
