A busy and productive start to the week as we head towards the end of March 2026 — blimey, where’s this year going already? 🌤️ Newton Community Centre
Kicked off the morning calling into Newton Community Centre for a catch‑up with locals. Always great to see everyone first thing. 🚫 Amberleigh Manor – Youth Trespass Concerns
Then it was down to Blackwell following more reports of youngsters aged around 12–14 trying to get onto the Amberleigh Manor Care Home site again.
Parents — please remind your young adventurers to stay away from this area. It’s unsafe, it’s private property, and CCTV is in operation. 🏫 Visit to Blackwell School
Dropped into Blackwell School to see Headteacher Gill, who is soldiering on with a poorly toe. No more table‑folding duties for you, Gill! 🥾 Tibshelf Scouts – Navigation Hike
Tonight I met up with the 3rd Tibshelf Scouts out on the trails as all 16 youngsters tackled a 6.5km hike towards their Navigation Badge.
Cold night + muddy paths = another round of boot‑cleaning for me… thanks Zak and Wayne! The evening finished with a well‑earned chippy stop for the Scouts and staff. Great work everyone! 📍 Tomorrow
