Good News Story – Proactive Patrol Leads to Two Arrests and Charges

During a routine patrol earlier this week, local officers came across an abandoned vehicle in the area and discovered two individuals sleeping inside. Following further checks and a search of the vehicle, both occupants were swiftly arrested.

One individual was wanted for multiple outstanding theft offences and was taken into custody without incident.

The second individual was found to be carrying pointed and bladed articles, resulting in their immediate arrest.

Thanks to the proactive work of officers on patrol, both suspects have now been charged and remanded.
