Prison for man who breached Criminal Behaviour Order |
||
|
A man who is banned from Borehamwood has been sent to prison after breaching his Criminal Behaviour Order twice. Ben Dawson, aged 33, of Grampian Place in Stevenage, had been issued with a Criminal Behaviour Order in July 2025, banning him from the town. However, he was spotted in Leeming Road on Saturday 7 March. On Wednesday 11 March, Dawson was found at an address in Lamerton Court and arrested under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act. Dawson appeared at Hatfield Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 12 March. He was sentenced to 15 weeks for each breach, running concurrently. Sergeant Andrew Amabilino, from the Borehamwood and Elstree Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “CBOs are given to serious and persistent offenders involved in anti-social behaviour or criminal activity. “We take breaches of CBOs extremely seriously as Dawson has now found out. “I hope this provides reassurance to the community that we are committed to keeping Borehamwood and Elstree a safe place.” You can also use Herts Connected to let us know what you think we should be prioritising in your area.
