Appeal for information after man found with serious injuries in Lincoln

We are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage after a man was found with serious injuries in Lincoln.

We are releasing an image from the CCTV footage of the man in the hope it will prompt memories and encourage anyone who saw something at the time to contact us.

The victim was last seen on CCTV walking with another man along Lincoln High Street on 19 March 2026 at around 5:36pm. After visiting the South Park convenience shop, he continued along the High Street before turning left onto Tealby Street. It is believed he may also have travelled through Sidney Street, onto Bargate, and then onto Craven Street.

We are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who may have CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell footage capturing anything unusual or suspicious in the area.

Any footage of the man in our image may be helpful to the investigation.

We also urge anyone with information that could assist our investigation to come forward, to help us determine how he sustained his injuries.

A 31-year-old man, a 38-year-old man, and a 43-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remain in police custody.

The man remains in hospital in a critical condition.
