Weekly Overview

This past week (week commencing Monday 16th March 2026) your local safer neighbourhood team, as well as the local response and our road policing teams, have been busy dealing with just under 70 incidents. These 369 incidents included violence and antisocial behaviour incidents and a large portion being road related incidents. 

This incidents have been dealt with swiftly to enable you to continue your day to day business with limited or no effect. There was only two violent and sexual offences incidents and unfortunately a rise up to 11 anti social incident. This is expected with the change in the weather as the summer weather often means individuals are out more creating and being a nuisance. We thank you for your patience when we have dealt with these incidents.

In relation to the ASB we have looked into all the incidents and will create plans were relevant to reduce these. Specifically in Binley Woods/Brandon we have noticed an increased in off road bikes in the area and causing issues in the Woods. PCSO GOODE and PCSO MORIARTY are already putting plans in place to reduce and stop these before it becomes protracted.
