Hello Roger Good to speak with you just now relating to your role as the registered Main Coordinator for Wordsworth Avenue Neighbourhood Watch. My name is Alasdair Bavister and I'm a Membership Services Administrator (MSA) for OurWatch, the national Neighbourhood Watch organisation and also a member of the executive of the Association of Dorset Watches (ADW). We're contacting all the registered Neighbourhood Watch Main Coordinators in Dorset by phone, to find out how things are, and to confirm that they and their schemes are active. You said that you have been trying to get someone else to take on the role of Main Coordinator. You told me there is a WhatsApp group for Wordsworth Avenue that includes the role of Neighbourhood Watch. We agreed that a way forward would be to get the administrator / coordinator of the WhatsApp group to take on the role of NW coordinator. I suggested that you login to and look up Wordsworth Avenue Neighbourhood Watch, where you can see all the registered members of the scheme, as well as others who have registered with OurWatch, but haven't joined Wordsworth Avenue Neighbourhood Watch. If you're able to get someone else to take on the role of Main Coordinator, it's a good practice to get another person to take on the role of deputy coordinator, so that there is an alternative point of contact.
