Ivor Playing Fields Parking

Whilst on patrol in Pontyclun this morning, PCSO Saltmarsh assessed the parking along Cowbridge Road at the Ivor Playing Fields.

The obstruction of the pavement by vehicles on match days has been a major complaint.

2 vehicles have been given Warning Notices for Unnecessarily Obstructing the Pavement, and also Obstructing the Tactile Paving for those who may be visually impaired.

Patrols of this area will continue, working in partnership with Pontyclun Town Council, to ensure pedestrians are not placed at risk by the quality of parking in the area.
