Do NOT open the door to unknown callersUse a door chain or peep hole.If the person claims to be from a utility company or council, ask them to show ID through the letterbox.When in doubt, do not let them in.2. Never share personal or financial informationBanks, councils, HMRC, and trusted companies will never ask for bank details or passwords via email, phone, or at your door.3.
