Hello Resident,
✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅ This week the Trinity team has been extremely busy tackling a number of issues highlighted by the public that are concerning them. Officers have been involved in two separate warrants acting on intelligence, bikes have been seized and a male arrested on suspicion of theft. He is currently on bail whilst enquiries are made in to a number of different bikes thefts.
Officers have also been out on the Falcon Lodge Estate as well as in the Town Centre at the end of the school day, following reports of non road legal bikes being ridden around and children acting in an anti social manner. This has resulted in one youth being stop and searched who was acting suspiciously. There has also been a number of visits to number of individuals homes, where their parents have been advised about their children’s behaviour. Officers have also been engaging with Sutton Coldfield College to inspire the next generation. This partnership is long-term, and regular work and operations with the college students will be continued. Part of our patrol strategy includes working with staff and security at Good Hope Hospital and will be having a pop up surgery at the hospital in the near future where you can come and speak with some of the team. Please keep an eye out for other police surgeries and feel free to attend where you can raise issues that you are concerned about with your local neighbourhood team.
Where we can we want to make the local community a better place for everyone but there are certain things that do not fit the responsibility of the police. This includes abandoned vehicles, unless vehicles are being used on a public road, the police are limited on what actions they can take. The responsibility for abandon cars tends to land with the local council and needs to be reported directly to them via their website. The Trinity team and West Midlands Police, rely heavily on members of the public providing us with information about what’s going on in the local area. Please continue to report your concerns directly to the police and together we can make your community a place to be proud of.' 📞 How to Contact Us or Report Information 📞 💬 Stay Connected with Your Local Team: 🤝🏼 Thank you for working with us to keep Birmingham safe and informed.
