A 44-year-old man from Chandler’s Ford has been jailed for 20 months for two breaches of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO). Craig Sankey, of Devon Close, was sentenced when he appeared at Southampton Crown Court on Friday 27 March. He had pleaded guilty to the offences at a previous hearing at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 17 February, Sankey was made subject to a ten-year SHPO on Friday 13 September 2024 following conviction for engaging in sexual communications with a child. As part of the conditions of the SHPO, he is required to notify police within three days of acquiring any new mobile phone or other internet-enabled device. On Tuesday 4 November 2025, Sankey had failed to inform police of a new phone and computer and was arrested. More below… ![]() | ||
