🚨 Motorbike Theft – Swansea Area

Hi all,

We have recently had thefts and attempted thefts of motorbikes and mopeds across Swansea, particularly where they’ve been left unsecured or in poorly lit areas.

We understand that not everyone has access to a garage and may need to park their bike outside their home, however there are still steps you can take to reduce the risk:

🔒 Use a disc lock, chain, or ground anchor

💡 Park in well-lit, busy areas where possible

📍 Consider using a tracker or alarm system

🏠 If at home, secure your bike with a lock or chain, even when parked outside your property

📹 Consider installing home CCTV or doorbell cameras to deter offenders and help capture evidence

Even if you’re only leaving your bike for a short time, it’s worth securing it.
