NETHERSEAL COMMUNITY SPEED WATCH GROUP

Hello everyone,

Roads are very icy after plunging temperatures over night after all the rain we had yesterday, so please drive carefully.

The new CSW group in Netherseal were out in force on Main Street, Netherseal yesterday in the bitter weather, but the weather does not deter speeders.

Started from 3pm - 4pm where fourty-one vehicles drove through the village and there was no recording of speeders, however Community Speed Watch signs were properly placed and high vis jackets worn to slow traffic down.

This first session was successful due to many drivers travelling through Netherseal, slowing right down whilst the handheld radar device recorded their speed.

This area is a 30mph speed limit like many rural villages.
