I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey. De Beauvoir Safer Neighbourhood Team have seen 2 reports of women being followed within the area in the last week and noted this was posted on Social Media. We are aware of the incidents and reaching out to those involved.
In the meantime, De Beauvoir Safer Neighbourhood Team Officers will be conducting hi-vis patrols and working with investigating officers to identify suspects. Please report any suspicious behaviour via MetEngage, or if currently ongoing 101. As always, call 999 in an emergency.
Consider using StrutSafe, a volunteer-operated and non-judgemental support line. Volunteers will stay on the phone with you until you arrive safely at your destination, no matter where you are going or where you have come from.
