Attempted break-in on Station Road - Cotes Heath

Dear residents,

There has been a report of an attempted break-in at a property on Station Road, Cotes Heath. 

Two unknown persons have smashed a pane of glass on a garage door before being disturbed and making off in a white coloured vehicle in the direction of Standon. This happened between 22:25 - 22:30hrs on 22/02/2026.

House to house enquiries have been made today, if anyone who hasn't been spoken to has any information that could assist officers, please contact 101 and quote: 408 - 23/02/2026. 

Please keep windows and doors to properties and vehicles locked. 

Use a door chain overnight and when answering to unknown persons.

CCTV cameras, doorbell cameras, outdoor lighting and setting your house alarm are all great deterrents to potential thieves.
