On Monday 16 March 2026, Sevenoaks CCTV operators received reports via the ShopSafe radio of two suspects who had stolen a large quantity of meat products from a local store and left without making any attempt to pay.

Store staff managed to recover one bag filled with stolen goods from one of the suspects, while the second suspect made off from the area on foot carrying another bag filled with stolen meat. Thanks to the rapid communication and detailed descriptions provided by the CCTV operators, Local Beat Team officers PC Costin and PC Wilson were able to conduct an area search and quickly locate both individuals.

Both suspects were detained, arrested, and taken into custody. A significant amount of stolen steaks were recovered.
