Stolen Vehicle

Thank you to the local resident on Hoe Lane who quickly contacted the police Yesterday to report a stolen vehicle in the area.

Upon arrival, officers conducted further searches and discovered three stolen vehicles at the scene. We are pleased to confirm that all three vehicles have now been recovered. This successful outcome is a direct result of the community looking out for one another and reporting suspicious activity promptly.

Please be aware that we are currently seeing an increase in motor vehicle thefts in the area. We urge all residents to remain cautious and follow this crime prevention advice:

• Ensure your vehicle is locked: Always double-check that doors and windows are secure, even if you are only away for a moment.

• Secure your keys: Keep keys and fobs away from doors and windows. For keyless entry cars, use a signal-blocking "Faraday" pouch to prevent relay theft.

• Clear out valuables: Do not leave bags, electronics, or even loose change on display.

• Use physical deterrents: Consider using a steering wheel lock or an alarm system to make your vehicle a harder target.

• Park in well-lit areas: If you do not have a driveway or garage, try to park under street lighting.
