There has been a recent upsurge in the theft of number plates in the Stoke-on-Trent area, particularly involving the Ford Focus and Vauxhall Vectra models of car.
In order to protect yourself from falling victim to thieves, there are a number of safety precautions you can take. These involve: Installing Locking Plate Frames, ensuring not to obscure any of the letters or numbers on the plate.
Should your number plate be stolen, or if you know of anyone who has had a number plate stolen, please report it directly to Staffordshire Police on 101 or via the Staffs Police Online Submission Form. | ||
