Happy Easter.. |

Evening all, The Wednesfield & Heath town Neighbourhood Police Team would like to wish everyone a very happy Easter. Please stay safe and enjoy this Easter weekend. ….. Just some points of note… Easter Home & Garden Security Opportunistic theft often increases as residents head out for day trips or holidays. "Hide Your Eggs, Hide Your Valuables": Do not leave high-value items, vehicle keys, or electronics in plain sight near windows or doors. Garden Tool Discipline: Never leave ladders, spades, or tools out in the garden. These can be stolen or, worse, used by a burglar to force entry into your home. UPVC Door Safety: Remember to "Lift, Lock, and Remove"—lift the handle, turn the key to engage the multi-point lock, and remove the key from the lock. Holiday Planning: Avoid posting about your trips on social media until you return to prevent signaling that your house is empty.
Community Safety & Patrols The team is active across Wednesfield to manage seasonal activity and anti-social behaviour (ASB). Bentley Bridge Retail Park: High-visibility patrols are stationed here to manage large groups and ensure a safe environment for shoppers. Anti-Social Behaviour: Residents are urged to report nuisance behaviour, such as illegal off-road biking, via 101 or the West Midlands Police Live Chat. School Holiday Awareness: Officers are patrolling local "ASB hotspots" and parks while schools are out for the break.
Local Engagement The team recently attended the Wednesfield Village Easter Fun Day on 28 March to meet with the community. If you missed them, you can catch them at upcoming sessions:
Heath Town Surgery: Tuesday, 21 April 2026, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM at Stratton Street Community Centre. Coffee with Cops: Regular sessions are held at The Hub, Ashmore Park. In an emergency, always call 999. For non-emergencies, use 101 or report online. Thanks
