A Busy Bank Holiday

Good morning Manor Park,

Your local officers have been out and about over the Easter weekend.

Following complaints from residents patrols took place along Forest View Road E12.

We are currently working with our partners at LBN to try and have a particular area cleared as it seems to be acting as a magnet for people to gather and even set up home.

As a result of these patrols PC NIck Wells 2253NE stopped and searched a male found at the location.

Checks showed that he was wanted for failing to appear at court re shop-lifting offences - and he was promptly arrested !

In addition, the knife pictured below was found at the same location by one of the PCSO's.

This was seized and has been booked in to be destroyed.

In addition officers took part in a Live Facial Recognition operation in E13 as part of a borough wide initiative.

Several arrests were made including one male for breach of his conditions as a registered sex offender while another individual who exhibited extreme violence towards officers was sectioned under the Mental Health Act,
