Public Message – Election day 

With Election Day taking place soon, we want to reassure our communities that local police officers and PCSOs will be on duty throughout the day.

You may see an increased police presence near polling stations and in town centres. This is routine and is there to provide reassurance, support polling staff, and help ensure everyone can go about their day safely.

We ask members of the public to be respectful of polling stations and those attending them. If you have any concerns or need assistance, please speak to a nearby officer or PCSO.
