Parcel Theft Updates

Residents of South Acton,

I hope you all had an enjoyable Easter weekend.

Today I attended court for the plea of a prolific parcel thief from the Acton area, particularly the Hillcrest Rd / King Edward's and Whitehall gardens areas of the ward.

I am please to say that he has pled guilty for 9 offences, including 5 counts of parcel theft and 4 counts of breach of Community Protection Notice. 

I have also compiled and served him with a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) which, if granted, will ban him from the entire of South Acton and the Town Centre. We will have to re-attend court in May for the sentencing hearing to see if this has been granted but with any luck we will be successful!

This has been the culmination of months of work and we appreciate your patience while this has been ongoing. We are very much aware of the impact that this male has caused our residents. Hopefully this will have a positive impact on our community.
