Easter Community Event - Stoneleigh Park

Officers from St James and Waterhead Neighbourhood Team and Operation Vulcan attended the second Easter event today, in Stoneleigh Park, Derker.

There was an assortment of activities provided for young people – which included a bike track, football, face painting, arts and crafts and VR headsets. All children who attended also received a free packed lunch.

Local officers engaged with all those in attendance – young and old alike. Children also had the opportunity to sit in Police vehicles, test out the sirens and blue lights plus try on uniform. 

The event was part of Oldham Council's holiday activities (HAF) for the local community. HAF events are free to attend.
