Arrests & Stop/Searches in the E12 area.

Dear All,

Your SNT have been active over the past few days - responding directly to information received from local residents.

The area around Aldersbrook Lane E12 - accessed under the railway line and leading to the pathway which runs along the back of the cemetery - has been identified as a gathering place for the distribution and use of drugs.

Two arrests have taken place at this location along with three stop and searches.

The activities taking place at this location have relevance to the whole Manor Park/Little Ilford area.

These type of activities are not confined to one location - the dealers/users who came to SNT attention yesterday are known and have been seen/stopped in other areas.

We hope that the teams latest actions send a message that we are not simply interested in dispersing these activities.

We hope to make E12 a NO-GO area for drugs.
