Crime Prevention Advice

Dear Residents,

I have previously sent this message out already, but unfortunately, I feel it is necessary to send it again.

On the 3rd of April 2026, there has been an attempted vehicle theft in Lisvane. 

Over the past two days, I have been actively engaging with residents in the area and providing crime prevention advice. 

I kindly ask everyone to ensure that your vehicle is always locked and secure and avoid leaving keys hanging near the doors or in easily accessible areas, as this can make it all too easy for thieves to gain access to your vehicle. 

For those of you who own vehicles that come equipped with a press-button start feature, I highly recommend considering in purchasing either a Faraday Pouch or box specifically designed to shield your keys from potential theft. 

These protective items can effectively block signals from your key fob, which making it much more difficult for thieves to gain access to your vehicle. 

If you decide to invest in a Faraday Pouch or box, please make sure that the item do as it says it can do by asking the seller/s question before you make the purchase. 

Don’t hesitate to ask questions to the seller if you have any doubts and take the time to read reviews and comments from other customers who have already purchased the product.
