Vehicle crime

Dear resident

In the early hours of Tuesday 7th April there were 2 Toyota vehicles targeted in Saddleworth.

1 vehicle was parked on St Marys drive, Greenfield and the other was on Mossley road, Grasscroft.

Both vehicles were entered by smashing a quarter light window by unknown means .

Fortunately offenders were unable to get either vehicle started and nothing was stolen from within the vehicles.

It is unclear at this time why these vehicles were targeted but if you own a Toyota make vehicle please be vigilant and consider some form of extra security to prevent thieves having an easy ride.
