I wanted to provide you with an update regarding cycle theft, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey. Dear Residents,
I hope you are well.
Please find below a brief update on reported incidents within the area between 1 April 2026 and 9 April 2026:
Theft of Bicycle – Wood Lane: An unknown suspect cut the lock and stole a bicycle.
Public Order – Muswell Hill: Five males were reported fighting at the location. No allegations were made upon police arrival.
Theft from Shop – Muswell Hill Broadway: Two male suspects entered a store and stole sports products valued at £250.
Theft from Shop – Muswell Hill Broadway: A male suspect entered a store and stole herbal supplements valued at £230.
Theft from Shop – Muswell Hill Broadway: A male suspect entered a store and stole sports products valued at £180.
Attempted Theft from Shop – Muswell Hill Broadway: A group of six males attempted to steal meat valued at £607. All items were recovered by store security.
Burglary (Business and Community): An unknown suspect accessed a communal garden and stole bicycles. There were no signs of forced entry.
Theft Other – Muswell Hill Broadway: An unknown suspect removed a bank card after it was retained by an ATM. The victim later discovered fraudulent transactions on the account.
Public Order – Muswell Hill Area: A suspect became verbally abusive toward a victim while on a bus.
