Arrest In Your Area |

Dear Resident,
Police officers from the Community Safety Unit made an arrest over the weekend just gone following the stop of a vehicle in Wrotham Heath. The driver was stopped during routine patrols and subjected to a roadside breath test, which indicated they were approximately twice the legal alcohol limit. Further checks were carried out and officers also found the driver to be in possession of a Class B controlled drug.
The driver was arrested and has since been charged. They are due to appear in court at a later date.
Kent Police remain committed to tackling drink‑ and drug‑driving, which poses a significant risk to road users and the wider community. Officers will continue proactive patrols and enforcement to keep local roads safe. Anyone who suspects someone is driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is urged to report it immediately by calling 999, or 101 for non‑emergency information.
