Police and Crime Commissioner welcomes Wiltshire Police’s new operational priorities

Wiltshire Police and Crime Commissioner Philip Wilkinson has welcomed the announcement of Wiltshire Police’s new operational priorities, shaped by what local people say matters most to them.

From April, Wiltshire Police will focus on three key areas: Safer Public Spaces, Reducing and Preventing Violence Against Women and Girls, and Improving Outcomes for Victims. This means more visible local policing, tackling antisocial behaviour and violence, stronger action to protect women and girls, and better support, care and communication for victims of crime.

These priorities will guide policing across Wiltshire and Swindon over the coming year and reflect a clear commitment to keeping communities safe, supporting victims and building trust and confidence in local policing.
