🚸 School Parking & Child Safety Reminder 🚸

 Good evening Resident

I’d like to remind everyone about considerate and safe parking around the schools on Highfield Road, Kilburn (Belper), particularly during busy drop‑off and pick‑up times.

This area is outside two schools, meaning there is a high volume of children and families crossing the road every day. The zebra crossing must be kept clear at all times as it is essential for helping children cross safely. Parking on or too close to the crossing reduces visibility and increases the risk to pedestrians.

👮‍♂️ I have been attending the area, enforcing parking restrictions, and maintaining a visible presence to address concerns and improve safety. This will continue where necessary.

Please help by: 

✅ Keeping the zebra crossing clear
✅ Parking legally and considerately
✅ Being mindful that this is a busy school area

A small change in parking habits can make a big difference. By working together, we can help keep children safe outside both schools on Highfield Road.
