|
Dear Resident Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace a man following an indecent exposure in Hitchin. A man exposed himself to a woman in a cut through between Strathmore Avenue and Brampton Park Road at around 8.20am yesterday (Wednesday 15 April). He was described as white, tall, in his late 40s and wearing grey trousers, a red hoody and dark coloured shoes with the laces untied. North Herts Neighbourhood Policing Team Inspector James Lant said: “We’d like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of this incident or has information about it. “I’d like to reassure the public we had officers in the area yesterday and again today as we conduct additional patrols in the vicinity. “I would urge anyone with information to contact us.” You can report information online at herts.police.uk/report, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat at herts.police.uk/contact or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting 41/34409/26. Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at crimestoppers-uk.org. | ||
